Two Strangers and a Wedding The Edge Radio Station 94.2FM www.theedge.co.nz
This is the second wedding between strangers, organised by the Edge radio station. The first wedding has been very successful, with the couple having two children. This second wedding between Steve and Kersha has also been successful a year down the line. Kersha is now expecting Steve's baby and they are living happily in Ashburton when we last heard. We wonder how two complete strangers can get married without ever meeting before the wedding, and how such an arrangement can be successful, but it appears to have all the winning ingredients for a happy marriage! We worked with the fabulous Corrina and Nick from the radio station to design a special cake that involved a "blindfolded" bride and groom (the blindfolds were removed by Steve and Kersha before cutting the cake, as part of a ceremony!), with a fun and funky chocolate "champagne bubbles" cake, and a special cake just for their pet puppies, which was airbrushed in rich blues and featured handmade puppies and bones!
